Target Information
H3K27me3는 히스톤 H3의 27번째 라이신 잔기가 삼메틸화된 후 나타나는 후성유전학적 표지로, 유전자 발현 억제와 관련된 이형염색질 영역에서 주로 발견됩니다. H3K27me3는 비활성 유전자 프로모터에 존재하며 활성화 표지인 H3K4me3와 반대되는 패턴을 보입니다. EZH2는 H3K27을 삼메틸화하는 PRC2 복합체의 구성 요소이며, UTX 및 JMJD3는 이 표지를 제거하는 히스톤 디메틸화 효소입니다. H3K27me3의 조절은 유전자 발현에 매우 중요하며, 그 이상 조절은 암을 포함한 다양한 질병과 관련이 있습니다.
