Target Information
G protein-coupled receptors (GPCRs, or GPRs) contain seven transmembrane domains and transduce extracellular signals through heterotrimeric G proteins.
GPR4 is a member of this family (subfamily lysophospholipid/lysosphingolipid) and is expressed in kidney, heart, and especially lung, where expression is at least five-fold higher than in other tissues.
