Target Information
This gene encodes a member of the NEDD4-like protein family, which possesses ubiquitin-protein ligase activity.
The encoded protein contains four tandem WW domains — motifs of 35–40 amino acids characterized by conserved aromatic residues — mediating specific protein–protein interactions.
Three alternatively spliced transcript variants encoding distinct isoforms have been identified for this gene.
