Target Information
DYKDDDDK tag (also known as FLAG tag) is a short peptide sequence used for protein purification, detection, and localization.
It consists of eight amino acids: Asp–Tyr–Lys–Asp–Asp–Asp–Asp–Lys.
Commonly fused to the N- or C-terminus of proteins, enabling easy identification and isolation using anti-FLAG antibodies.
Widely applied in molecular biology and biochemistry for protein-protein interaction studies, expression analysis, and localization.
The FLAG tag is hydrophilic, reducing risk of protein denaturation or inactivation.
