Target Information
MAGED1는 melanoma antigen gene (MAGE) 패밀리의 구성원으로, 대부분의 MAGE 유전자는 정상 성인 조직에서는 고환을 제외하고 발현되지 않는 종양 특이 항원을 암호화합니다. 그러나 MAGED1은 거의 모든 정상 성인 조직에서 발현되며, p75 neurotrophin receptor 매개 세포 사멸 경로에 관여하는 것으로 보고되었습니다. 이 유전자는 두 가지 다른 아이소폼을 암호화하는 세 가지 전사 변형체를 가집니다.
