Target Information
EGFR (epidermal growth factor receptor)는 다양한 성장 인자에 반응하는 수용체 티로신 키나아제로, 과발현 시 여러 종류의 암과 관련이 있습니다. EGFR은 인간의 7번 염색체에 위치한 EGFR 유전자에 의해 암호화되며, HER/ERbB 단백질 패밀리에 속합니다.
EGFR은 막관통형 수용체로, EGF(Epidermal Growth Factor)나 TGF-α(Transforming Growth Factor alpha) 등의 리간드가 결합하면 이량체화(dimerization)와 세포질 도메인의 티로신 잔기 자가인산화가 일어납니다.
과발현은 두경부암, 뇌종양, 방광암, 위암, 유방암, 폐암, 자궁내막암, 자궁경부암, 외음부암, 난소암, 식도암 및 편평세포암 등에서 관찰됩니다.
