Product Specific Information
For reconstitution, add 100 µL distilled water to obtain a final antibody concentration of approximately 1 mg/mL.
For conjugation experiments, perform an additional desalting step (e.g., using Zeba Spin Desalting Columns, 7K MWCO, 0.5 mL, Product #89882).
Target Information
Microtubules, composed of alpha and beta tubulin subunits, form the mitotic spindle during cell division and organize membranous organelles during interphase.
Katanin is a heterodimer consisting of a 60 kDa ATPase subunit (p60, subunit A1) and an 80 kDa accessory protein (p80, subunit B1).
The p60 subunit severs and disassembles microtubules, while the p80 subunit targets the enzyme to the centrosome.
Katanin belongs to the AAA family of ATPases.
