Product Specific Information
- This antibody does not react with Dog or Rat.
- For immunohistochemistry (PFA fixed): incubate antibody for 30 minutes at room temperature.
- Staining of formalin-fixed tissues requires heating tissue sections in 10 mM Tris with 1 mM EDTA, pH 9.0, for 45 minutes at 95°C, followed by cooling at room temperature for 20 minutes.

Melanoma is a malignant tumor of melanocytes found predominantly in the skin, but also in the bowel and the eye (see uveal melanoma). Although it is one of the rarer types of skin cancer, it causes the majority of skin cancer-related deaths.
