- This antibody specifically recognizes GAC but not the KGA isoform.
- Predicted reactivity: Bovine (100%).
- Recommended positive controls: MDA-MB-231 and cholangiocarcinoma tissue.

Target Information
Phosphate-activated glutaminase (EC 3.5.1.2) is the major enzyme that converts glutamine to glutamate. It plays a key role in neurotransmitter-related processes. Studies have shown high heritability of platelet glutaminase activity, suggesting genetic influence on enzyme expression and potential links to behavioral conditions.
