Product Specific Information
The antibody was affinity-purified from rabbit antiserum by affinity chromatography using epitope-specific immunogen. The purity is greater than 95% as determined by SDS-PAGE.
Target Information
Five human RAD51 homologues have been identified: XRCC2, XRCC3, RAD51B, RAD51C, and RAD51D. Each of these homologues interacts with one or more of the others, forming one complex or multiple smaller complexes. Rad51B plays a role in meiotic recombination and recombinational repair.
