Target Information
Programmed death receptor ligand 1 (PD-L1, also called B7-H1) is a member of the B7 family. PD-L1 binds to its receptor PD-1, which negatively regulates T-cell receptor (TCR) signaling. Upon interaction, PD-L1 decreases TCR-mediated proliferation and cytokine production. PD-L1 is abundantly expressed in many murine and human cancers and can be upregulated by IFN-gamma stimulation, suggesting its role in tumor immune evasion.
