Target Information
Aquaporin 12 (AQP12)는 포유류 AQP 계열 중 가장 최근에 확인된 단백질로, 췌장 선세포에서 특이적으로 발현됩니다. 세포 내에서 위치하며, 췌장에서의 생리적 역할을 규명하기 위해 AQP12 결손 생쥐(AQP12-KO)가 제작되었습니다. 정상 조건에서는 WT와 AQP12-KO 생쥐 간에 성장, 혈액 화학, 췌장 액체 함량, 조직학적 차이가 없었지만, CCK-8 유도성 췌장염 모델에서는 AQP12-KO 생쥐가 더 심한 병리적 손상을 나타냈습니다.
