Reconstitute the lyophilized antibody with deionized water (or equivalent) to a final concentration of 0.5 mg/mL.

Obinutuzumab (Gazyva) is a humanized monoclonal antibody approved by the U.S. FDA for the treatment of chronic lymphocytic leukemia and follicular lymphoma. It binds to a unique conformational epitope on the CD20 protein, partially overlapping with that recognized by rituximab. When Obinutuzumab binds to CD20 on B cells, these cells are destroyed by the adaptive immune system.

GenScript MonoRab™ Anti-Obinutuzumab Antibody (8G12), mAb, Rabbit is produced from a hybridoma resulting from the fusion of partner and B-lymphocytes obtained from a rabbit immunized with Obinutuzumab.

Target Information

Obinutuzumab is a humanized anti-CD20 monoclonal antibody, originated by GlycArt Biotechnology AG and developed by Roche as a cancer treatment. It was approved under the trade name Gazyva by the US FDA in 2013, and as Gazyvaro by the EMA in Europe, for the treatment of chronic lymphocytic leukemia in combination with chemotherapy in treatment-naive patients, and as a second-line treatment for follicular lymphoma.

Obinutuzumab binds to an epitope on CD20 that partially overlaps with the epitope recognized by rituximab. It induces B-cell destruction by engaging the adaptive immune system, activating intracellular apoptosis pathways, and triggering the complement system.
