Recombinant rabbit monoclonal antibodies are produced using in vitro expression systems. The antibody DNA sequences from immunoreactive rabbits are cloned and expressed, then screened to select the best candidates for production.

Target Information
Activin A receptor type II-like 1 (ACVRL1) is a type I cell-surface receptor for the TGF-beta superfamily of ligands. It contains a conserved serine-threonine kinase subdomain, a GS domain preceding the kinase domain, and a short C-terminal tail.
Mutations in ACVRL1 are associated with hemorrhagic telangiectasia type 2 and linked to Fibrodysplasia Ossificans Progressiva (FOP), a rare disorder causing bone formation in soft tissues, as well as Epicanthus.
