Target Information
IGF1 (Insulin-like growth factor-1)는 인슐린과 구조적으로 유사하지만 성장 촉진 활성이 훨씬 높습니다. 세포 증식, 분화, 이동, 생존 등 다양한 세포 반응을 유도하며, 근육, 뼈, 연골 조직의 여러 세포 유형의 증식을 자극합니다.
IGF1은 PyMS 세포에서 포도당 수송을 촉진하며, 인슐린보다 낮은 농도에서도 효과적입니다. 순환 중 IGFs는 IGFBPs에 결합되어 반감기가 연장되고 표적 조직으로 전달됩니다.
IGF-I는 AKT 신호 경로의 강력한 활성화 인자로 알려져 있으며, 세포 증식을 촉진하고 세포사멸을 억제합니다. 또한 인간 IGF-I는 소 및 돼지 단백질과 100% 상동성을 보입니다. 낮은 IGF1 수준은 알츠하이머병과 관련이 있으며, IGF1 유전자의 결함은 성장 인자 결핍을 유발할 수 있습니다.
