Product Specific Information
For reconstitution, add 100 µL distilled water to achieve a final antibody concentration of approximately 1 mg/mL.
For conjugation experiments, perform an additional desalting step using Zeba Spin Desalting Columns (7K MWCO, 0.5 mL, Product #89882).
Target Information
This gene belongs to the MAGE-B subfamily of the MAGE gene family.
MAGE family proteins direct the expression of tumor antigens recognized by autologous cytolytic T lymphocytes in human melanoma.
Two clusters of MAGE genes are located on chromosome X:
- MAGE-A subfamily: Xq28 region
- MAGE-B subfamily: Xp21 region
