Product Specific Information

Target Information
GOLPH1 (also known as GCP60) is a Golgi-associated protein that interacts with the integral membrane protein giantin and contributes to Golgi structure maintenance. It also interacts with Golgi proteins such as Golgin-160, which can be cleaved by caspases, leading to nuclear localization of its fragments.
The interaction strength between GOLPH1 and Golgin-160 fragments is regulated by the oxidation state of Cys-463, indicating a coordinated process in nuclear localization.
Additionally, GOLPH1 interacts with Numb, a signaling protein involved in asymmetric cell division, suggesting that Golgi dynamics may influence cell fate and cell cycle progression.
