Target Information
HN1 (hematopoietic- and neurologic-expressed sequence 1) is a highly conserved protein expressed in developing and regenerating tissues. Overexpression has been reported in tumors such as glioma and breast cancer. HN1 is also a marker for human ovarian carcinoma, distinguishing epithelial ovarian carcinoma cells from normal ovarian surface epithelial cells. It is involved in processes associated with cell proliferation, repair, and growth.
