Target Information
The NR0B2 protein is an orphan nuclear receptor that lacks a conventional DNA-binding domain but includes a ligand-binding domain. It interacts with retinoid, thyroid, and estrogen receptors, inhibiting their ligand-dependent transcriptional activation. This protein represses nuclear hormone receptor-mediated transactivation through competition with coactivators and direct transcriptional repression.
