Target Information
CENPJ 유전자는 centromere protein family에 속하는 단백질을 암호화합니다. 세포 분열 중 centrosome의 구조적 유지와 정상적인 spindle 형태 유지에 관여하며, microtubule 해체에도 역할을 합니다. 또한 Stat5 신호전달 경로에서 전사 공동활성인자로 작용하며, NF-kappaB 매개 전사 활성화에도 관여합니다. 이 유전자 돌연변이는 소두증(primary autosomal recessive microcephaly)과 관련이 있으며, 이는 뇌 크기 감소와 지적 장애를 특징으로 합니다.
