Product Specific Information

The DREG-56 monoclonal antibody reacts with human CD62L, a 76 kDa member of the selectin family. CD62L is expressed by neutrophils, monocytes, and subsets of T, B, and NK cells. It binds glycosylated, fucosylated, sulfated sialylated glycoproteins such as CD34, glycam-1, and MAdCAM-1, mediating lymphocyte rolling and homing to high endothelial venules (HEV).

Applications Reported: Flow cytometric analysis
Applications Tested: Pre-diluted and tested for flow cytometry of normal human peripheral blood cells at 5 µL (0.5 µg) per test.

Brilliant Violet™ 650 (BV650) is a tandem dye emitting at 649 nm, suitable for instruments equipped with a 405 nm violet laser. Ensure instrument compatibility before use.

Buffer Recommendation:
When using multiple polymer dye-conjugated antibodies, use Super Bright Complete Staining Buffer (Product # SB-4401-42) or Brilliant Stain Buffer™ (Product # 00-4409-75) to minimize non-specific interactions.

Light Sensitivity:
Protect vial and stained samples from light due to photo-induced oxidation sensitivity.

Fixation Compatibility:
Samples can be stored in IC Fixation Buffer (Product # 00-8222-49) or 1-step Fix/Lyse Solution (Product # 00-5333-54) for up to 3 days at 4°C in the dark. BV650 is not compatible with methanol-based fixation.

Target Information

Human CD62L is a 74–95 kDa glycoprotein, a member of the selectin family of adhesion receptors. It includes:

• C-type lectin binding domain
• EGF-like domain
• Two short consensus repeat (SCR) sequences
• Spacer, transmembrane, and cytoplasmic regions

CD62L is expressed on all leukocyte classes except a subset of memory T cells, including lymphocytes, monocytes, and polymorphonuclear cells.
