Target Information
GOT2 (Glutamic-oxaloacetic transaminase 2) is a pyridoxal phosphate-dependent enzyme found in the inner mitochondrial membrane. It participates in amino acid metabolism and the urea and tricarboxylic acid cycles. GOT1 and GOT2 are homodimeric enzymes showing close homology.
