Target Information
ADCK3 (CABC1) serine/threonine kinase is a mitochondrial protein similar to yeast ABC1 and a member of the ADCK family. It functions in an electron-transferring membrane protein complex in the respiratory chain, distinct from ABC transporter proteins. Expression is induced by tumor suppressor p53 and DNA damage, and inhibition partially suppresses p53-induced apoptosis. Alternatively spliced transcript variants have been identified.
