Target Information
WISP3는 WNT1 유도 신호 경로(WISP) 단백질 하위군에 속하며, connective tissue growth factor (CTGF) 계열에 속합니다.
WNT1은 시스테인 풍부한 당화 신호 단백질로 다양한 발달 과정을 매개합니다. CTGF 계열 단백질은 네 가지 보존된 시스테인 풍부 도메인(IGF 결합 도메인, von Willebrand factor type C 모듈, thrombospondin 도메인, C-말단 cystine knot-like 도메인)을 특징으로 합니다.
WISP3는 대장 종양에서 과발현되며, 악성 변형과 관련된 WNT1 신호 경로의 하위에서 작용할 가능성이 있습니다. 또한 WISP3 유전자의 돌연변이는 진행성 가성류머티즘성 이형증과 관련되어 있으며, 이는 정상적인 출생 후 골격 성장과 연골 항상성에 필수적인 역할을 함을 시사합니다.
