Target Information
Fibrinogen은 혈장 내 응고 가능한 단백질로, 혈관 손상 후 thrombin에 의해 절단되어 fibrin을 형성하며 이는 혈전의 주요 구성 요소입니다. Fibrinogen은 FGA, FGB, FGG의 3쌍 사슬로 구성된 이합체이며, N-말단 부위에서 이황화 결합으로 연결되어 있습니다. 분자는 두 개의 D 도메인과 하나의 E 도메인을 가지며, plasmin에 의해 분해될 때 이들이 분리됩니다.
이 유전자의 돌연변이는 dysfibrinogenemia, afibrinogenemia, renal amyloidosis 등의 질환을 유발할 수 있습니다.
