• Immunohistochemistry (PFA fixed): Incubate antibody for 30 min at room temperature.
• Staining of formalin-fixed tissues requires heating tissue sections in 10 mM Tris with 1 mM EDTA (pH 9.0) for 45 min at 95°C, followed by cooling at room temperature for 20 min.

Target Information

Kallikreins are a subgroup of serine proteases implicated in carcinogenesis.
A novel KLK gene, KLK12, is expressed in various tissues including salivary gland, stomach, uterus, lung, thymus, prostate, colon, brain, thyroid, and trachea.
It has potential applications as a novel cancer biomarker.
