The antibody was affinity-purified from rabbit antiserum by affinity chromatography using epitope-specific immunogen. The purity is greater than 95% as determined by SDS-PAGE.
Target Information
The modification of proteins with ubiquitin is an essential cellular mechanism for targeting abnormal or short-lived proteins for degradation. Ubiquitination involves three classes of enzymes: ubiquitin-activating enzymes (E1s), ubiquitin-conjugating enzymes (E2s), and ubiquitin-protein ligases (E3s).
UBE2J2 is a member of the E2 ubiquitin-conjugating enzyme family and is located in the membrane of the endoplasmic reticulum. Multiple alternatively spliced transcript variants have been identified for this gene, although the full-length nature of some variants remains undefined.
