Target Information
NAD-dependent protein deacetylase sirtuin-1 (SIRT1)는 세포 내 에너지 대사와 전사 조절을 직접적으로 연결하며, 세포 주기, DNA 손상 반응, 대사, 세포사멸(apoptosis), 자가포식(autophagy) 등의 다양한 세포 기능을 조정하는 역할을 합니다.
SIRT1은 히스톤 탈아세틸화를 통해 염색질 기능을 조절하고, 히스톤 및 DNA의 메틸화 변화를 유도하여 전사 억제를 촉진할 수 있습니다. 또한, 근육세포 분화 및 영양 결핍 상태에서 5'-AMP-activated protein kinase (AMPK)와 nicotinamide phosphoribosyltransferase (NAMPT)를 매개로 근육 전구세포 분화를 억제하는 역할을 합니다.
