Target Information
CAMK1D (CaMK1 delta) is a serine/threonine kinase belonging to the calcium/calmodulin-dependent protein kinase family. It is expressed in polymorphonuclear leukocytes and may participate in chemokine signal transduction regulating granulocyte function. CAMK1D may also play a role in modulation of neuronal apoptosis. The CaMK1D-beta isoform exhibits Ca²⁺/CaM-dependent activity, and CAM-Kkalpha upregulates CAMK1D-b activity through phosphorylation at Thr180.
