Target Information
RAP1A는 RAS 관련 단백질 계열에 속하며, RAS 단백질과 약 50%의 아미노산 서열 유사성을 공유합니다. RAP 단백질은 RAS 단백질과 구조적으로 유사하지만, 61번째 아미노산이 글루타민(Q)에서 트레오닌(T)으로 치환되어 있는 점이 주요 차이점입니다. RAP1A는 RAS GAP 및 RAF와 경쟁적으로 상호작용하여 RAS의 증식 유도 기능을 억제합니다. 동일한 단백질을 암호화하는 두 가지 전사 변이가 알려져 있습니다.
