Target Information
The nuclear factor of activated T-cells (NFAT) transcription complex regulates the expression of proteins involved in the immune response. Four NFAT proteins (NFAT1–NFAT4) are encoded by separate genes and expressed as splice variants. NFAT5 differs from isoforms 1–4 by lacking Fos/Jun contact sites and its localization is not calcineurin-dependent.
