Target Information
EDA는 furin에 의해 절단되어 분비형으로 전환될 수 있는 type II 막단백질입니다. 이 단백질은 tumor necrosis factor (TNF) 계열에 속하며, homotrimer 형태로 작용하여 외배엽 기관 발달 중 세포 간 신호 전달에 관여할 수 있습니다.
EDA 유전자 결함은 X-linked hypohidrotic ectodermal dysplasia로 알려진 무한증성 외배엽 이형성증의 원인이 됩니다.
