Reconstitution: Add 25 µL, 50 µL, or 0.2 mL of double distilled water (DDW), depending on sample size.
The antibody ships as a lyophilized powder at room temperature. Upon arrival, store at -20°C.
Reconstituted solution can be stored at 4°C for up to 1 week. For longer periods, store aliquots at -20°C.
Avoid multiple freeze-thaw cycles. Centrifuge all antibody preparations before use (10000 × g, 5 min).

Target Information

This gene encodes a member of the G-protein coupled receptor family.
Although previously thought to be a receptor for vasoactive intestinal peptide (VIP), it is now considered an orphan receptor with no identified endogenous ligand.
CXCR7 also acts as a coreceptor for human immunodeficiency viruses (HIV).
Translocations involving this gene and HMGA2 on chromosome 12 have been observed in lipomas.
