Product Specific Information
For reconstitution, add 100 µL of distilled water to achieve a final antibody concentration of approximately 1 mg/mL.
For conjugation experiments using this carrier-free antibody, perform an additional desalting step using Zeba Spin Desalting Columns (7K MWCO, 0.5 mL, Product #89882).
Target Information
Members of the human serpin family regulate diverse serine and cysteine proteinases involved in biological processes such as fibrinolysis, coagulation, inflammation, cell mobility, differentiation, and apoptosis.
Most serpins are secreted and reach physiologic concentrations in blood and extracellular fluids, while ov-serpins are intracellular.
SERPINB13 (also known as headpin) is underexpressed in squamous cell cancers of the oral cavity but expressed in normal oral mucosal tissue, skin, and cultured keratinocytes.
