Product Specific Information
For reconstitution, add 100 µL of distilled water to achieve a final antibody concentration of approximately 1 mg/mL.
For conjugation experiments, perform desalting (recommended: Zeba Spin Desalting Columns, 7K MWCO, 0.5 mL, Product #89882).
Target Information
Galectins are a family of beta-galactoside-binding proteins involved in modulating cell–cell and cell–matrix interactions.
The protein encoded by LGALS9 is an S-type lectin, overexpressed in Hodgkin’s disease tissue, potentially mediating interactions between H and RS cells and their microenvironment, contributing to disease pathogenesis and associated immunodeficiency.
Multiple alternatively spliced transcript variants have been identified for this gene.
