Target Information
Skp2 (S-phase Kinase-associated Protein 2)는 Cyclin A-Cdk2 복합체와 상호작용하는 F-box 단백질 계열에 속합니다. Skp2는 변형된 세포와 2배체 섬유아세포 모두에서 G1-S 전이에 필수적입니다. 생화학적 및 유전학적 연구에 따르면 Skp2는 p27의 유비퀴틴화 및 분해에 필요하며, 정상 조직에서는 편도와 태반에서 발현됩니다. 종양 조직에서는 대장, 전립선, 췌장, 피부암 등 다양한 암에서 발현되며, 특히 폐, 유방, 난소, 자궁내막암에서 높은 발현이 관찰됩니다. 연구 결과 Skp2는 림프종 및 유방암의 발병 기전에 관여하는 것으로 제시됩니다.
