Invitrogen™ iBind™ Flex Western Device

The iBind Flex Western Device is an automated western-processing system that performs every step—from blocking to washes to antibody incubations—via Sequential Lateral Flow (SLF) technology. This allows controlled release and flow of solutions and antibodies to the membrane without the need for an external power source, shakers, or trays.

Each solution is released from the iBind Flex device wells to an iBind Flex Card through SLF. The glass fiber matrix of the card ensures homogeneous and consistent flow, enhancing antigen–antibody interaction.

The iBind Flex western detection procedure:

• Minimizes hands-on time
• Offers high reproducibility
• Requires less primary antibody compared to manual methods
• Compatible with multiple detection protocols

Setup is fast—within approximately 2.5 hours, the system is ready for the detection step.

The device includes three user-interchangeable well inserts to process:

• Up to one midi blot
• Two mini blots
• Six vertically-cut strip blots
