The iBind Flex Western Starter Kit for fluorescent detection includes:

The iBind Flex Western Device automates western blot processing (immunodetection) by applying mechanical pressure to an iBind Flex Card, generating sequential lateral flow (SLF) of immunodetection solutions for blocking, antibody binding, and washing steps.
The glass fiber matrix of the iBind Flex Card ensures homogenous and consistent flow of solutions over the membrane, enhancing antigen-antibody interaction.

All solutions are prepared and loaded at the start of the procedure, and subsequent steps proceed automatically through SLF action—no electricity or batteries required. Blots are ready for final detection in approximately 2.5 hours.

The iBind Flex Western Device includes three user-interchangeable well inserts to process:

• Up to one midi blot
• Two mini blots
• Six vertically-cut strip blots

For optimal performance, use with:

• iBind Flex Solution Kit
• iBind Flex Fluorescent Detection (FD) Solution Kit
