Target Information
HLA-A는 HLA class I 중쇄 패럴로그에 속하며, 중쇄와 경쇄(β2-microglobulin)로 구성된 이합체 형태의 막단백질입니다. Class I 분자는 세포 내 단백질 유래 펩타이드를 제시하여 면역 시스템에서 중심적인 역할을 합니다. 대부분의 세포에서 발현되며, 약 45 kDa의 중쇄는 8개의 엑손으로 구성되어 있습니다. 엑손 1은 리더 펩타이드, 엑손 2와 3은 펩타이드 결합 도메인(α1, α2), 엑손 4는 α3 도메인, 엑손 5는 막관통 영역, 엑손 6과 7은 세포질 꼬리를 암호화합니다. 엑손 2와 3의 다형성은 펩타이드 결합 특이성을 결정하며, 골수 및 신장이식 시 HLA 타이핑에 활용됩니다. 수백 종의 HLA-A 대립유전자가 보고되어 있습니다.
