Target Information
Anti-Human secondary antibodies are affinity-purified with well-characterized specificity for human immunoglobulins.
They are useful for detection, sorting, or purification of target proteins.
Secondary antibodies enhance versatility by enabling multiple detection systems (HRP, AP, fluorescence) and provide signal amplification since multiple secondary antibodies can bind to one primary antibody.
Typically, they are generated by immunizing the host animal with pooled immunoglobulins and further purified or modified (e.g., immunoaffinity chromatography, antibody fragmentation, label conjugation) to achieve high specificity.
