Target Information
Smad 단백질 패밀리는 TGF-β 신호전달 경로에서 세포 외 신호를 전달하는 역할을 합니다.
TGF-β 수용체에 리간드가 결합하면 Smad 단백질의 C-말단 Ser-Ser-X-Ser(SSXS) 모티프가 인산화되어 활성화됩니다.
활성화된 R-Smad(Smad1, Smad2, Smad3, Smad5, Smad8)는 Co-Smad(Smad4)와 복합체를 형성해 핵으로 이동하며, TGF-β 타깃 유전자 발현을 조절합니다.
Smad6, Smad7은 억제형(I-Smad)으로 작용하여 R-Smad와 수용체의 상호작용을 차단합니다.
