Target Information
N-cadherin은 칼슘 의존적 세포 간 접착을 매개하는 140 kDa 단백질로, 발달 과정 중 형태형성 운동 조절에 관여합니다.
Cadherin 계열 단백질은 동일한 cadherin 종과의 상호작용을 통해 세포 표면 접착을 조절하며, actin-cytoskeleton과의 결합을 통해 기능을 수행합니다.
이 결합은 β-catenin의 인산화/탈인산화에 의해 조절됩니다.
N-cadherin은 다섯 개의 extracellular cadherin 반복, 하나의 transmembrane 영역, 그리고 highly conserved cytoplasmic tail로 구성된 칼슘 의존성 세포-세포 접착 당단백질입니다.
배아 발달 중 gastrulation 과정에서 기능하며, 좌우 비대칭성 확립에 필수적입니다.
