RALA는 다양한 세포 과정(유전자 발현, 세포 이동, 증식, 종양 변형, 막 수송)에 관여하는 다기능 GTPase입니다. 여러 하위 효과기와 상호작용하여 기능을 수행하며, GTP 의존적 밀집소포 배출의 GTP 센서 역할을 합니다. 세포분열 초기 단계에서 엑소시스트 복합체를 세포질 분열 고랑에 결합시키는 역할을 하며, LPAR1 신호 조절 및 막 뗏목 외포작용과 성장 신호 조절에도 관여합니다. 변형된 세포의 부착 독립적 증식에 필수적입니다.
