CNEP1R1은 serine/threonine protein phosphatase CTDNEP1과 복합체를 형성하여 LPIN1 및 LPIN2를 탈인산화 및 활성화할 수 있습니다.
LPIN1과 LPIN2는 phosphatidate phosphatase로서, phosphatidic acid를 diacylglycerol로 전환하여 지방산 대사를 조절합니다.
이 단백질은 핵막 및 소포체 막의 지질 조성을 간접적으로 조절하고, 핵막의 형태 및 역학 유지에 필요할 수 있습니다. 또한 지방 방울 및 triacylglycerol 생성 조절에도 관여할 수 있습니다.
