Target Information
BMPR2는 bone morphogenetic protein (BMP) 수용체 패밀리에 속하는 transmembrane serine/threonine kinase입니다. BMP 리간드는 골 형성과 배아 발생에 관여하며, BMPR2의 변이는 원발성 폐고혈압(primary pulmonary hypertension) 및 폐정맥폐쇄질환(pulmonary venoocclusive disease)과 관련이 있습니다. 또한 BMPR2는 인간 T세포 분화에도 중요한 역할을 합니다. BMP 신호전달은 type I 및 type II 수용체 간의 이합체 복합체 형성을 통해 이루어지며, type II 수용체는 리간드 결합에 필요하고 type I 수용체는 신호전달에 필요합니다.
