Product Specific Information
For reconstitution, add 100 µL of distilled water to achieve a final antibody concentration of approximately 1 mg/mL.
For conjugation experiments, perform an additional desalting step (e.g., using Zeba Spin Desalting Columns, 7K MWCO, 0.5 mL, Product #89882).
Target Information
DR5 (Apo2, TRAIL-R2, TRICK2, KILLER) is a death domain-containing receptor for TRAIL that mediates TRAIL-induced apoptosis.
It belongs to the TNF-receptor superfamily and transduces apoptosis signals via TNFSF10/TRAIL/APO-2L.
DR5 activation requires FADD, a death domain adaptor protein, and overexpression can induce apoptosis and activate NF-κB.
DR5 is expressed in various cell types, notably in lymphocytes and spleen.
Dysfunction of DR5 has been associated with squamous cell carcinoma and diffuse infiltrative lymphocytosis syndrome.
