Target Information
DPY30 is a component of the MLL1/MLL complex, involved in methylation of histone H3 at Lys-4, particularly trimethylation, which serves as a tag for epigenetic transcriptional activation. It may also contribute to histone H3 acetylation. In teratocarcinoma cells, DPY30 plays a crucial role in retinoic acid-induced neural differentiation by regulating gene induction and H3 Lys-4 methylation at developmental loci. It may also have roles in endosomal transport.
