Target Information
DPY30 is a component of the MLL1/MLL complex involved in histone H3 methylation at Lys-4, particularly trimethylation, which is associated with epigenetic transcriptional activation. It may also influence histone H3 acetylation. In teratocarcinoma cells, DPY30 plays a crucial role in retinoic acid-induced neural differentiation, regulating gene induction and H3 Lys-4 methylation at developmental loci. It may also contribute to endosomal transport.
