Product Specific Information
The antibody was affinity-purified from rabbit antiserum by affinity chromatography using epitope-specific immunogen. The purity is >95% (by SDS-PAGE).
Target Information
Rho GTPase activating protein 5 negatively regulates RHO GTPases, which mediate cytoskeletal changes by stimulating hydrolysis of bound GTP. Two transcript variants encoding different isoforms have been identified for this gene. It acts as a GTPase-activating protein for Rho family members and may reduce the p21rasGTPase-activating potential of RASA1/p120GAP.
