Target Information
Anti-Mouse secondary antibodies are affinity-purified antibodies with well-characterized specificity for mouse immunoglobulins. They are useful for detection, sorting, or purification of target proteins. Secondary antibodies enhance assay versatility and sensitivity through signal amplification, as multiple secondary antibodies can bind to a single primary antibody. Typically generated by immunizing host animals with pooled immunoglobulins, they can be purified or modified (e.g., immunoaffinity chromatography, antibody fragmentation, label conjugation) to create highly specific reagents.
